Fenix E35R flashlight, rechargeable

The rechargeable pocket flashlight Fenix E35R offers a luminous flux of up to 3100 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of up to 260 meters. Excellent performance was achieved using the modern Luminus SST-70 LED. A high-capacity Li-ion battery type 21700 with a capacity of 5000 mAh is used for power. It is recharged via a USB-C connector on the side of the flashlight. The E35R replaces the popular E35 V3.0 flashlight, but compared to it, it additionally has a built-in charging connector and a magnetic tail cap. The flashlight was designed with ease of use and wide applicability in mind. Six lighting modes allow you to choose between high performance and a runtime of over two and a half days. A blinding strobe is also available for emergency situations. The Fenix E35R is powered by a digitally regulated constant current to ensure consistent light output even when the voltage in the batteries decreases (as they gradually discharge). The flashlight is equipped with an ultra-thin collimator made using automotive industry technologies. Turning on and switching modes is done by a button ergonomically placed on the side. The magnet in the tail cap is practical, allowing the flashlight to be attached to ferrous objects.

Use of the Fenix E35R work flashlight

From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the flashlight on the battery. Remove it from the battery before first use.

To turn on or off, press and hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds; the flashlight will always turn on in the last selected mode, except for the two highest (turbo and high). You can switch between output modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button. Strobe can be activated by holding the button for 1.2 seconds (the flashlight must be on). The strobe will turn off when the button is released.

Charging - open the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the flashlight and connect the included cable (USB-C connector); connect the other end of the cable to a computer, or a USB adapter to the mains or car. The indicator LED glows red during charging. It turns green when fully charged. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 3 hours (with a 2A power source). Modes 30, 150, and 350 lumens can be used during charging.

Intelligent overheat protection - If the temperature exceeds 60°C, the output will automatically decrease. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, the highest output can be used again.

Battery level indication - after a short press of the button (the flashlight must be off), the LED indicator in the button is activated. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is charged to over 85%. Flashing green means 50-85% capacity. If it is red, it is charged to 25-50%. Flashing red means less than 25% battery capacity remains.

Button lock - to prevent accidental activation of the flashlight in your luggage, double-press the button quickly within 0.5 seconds (the flashlight must be off); the flashlight will then flash twice in low mode and cannot be turned on. Unlock by double-pressing the button quickly again. Accidental activation can also be prevented by unscrewing the flashlight body.

Low battery warning - the side button will start flashing red, and the flashlight will gradually and automatically switch to the lowest mode.

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the flashlight head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Use only high-quality 21700 Li-ion batteries to avoid damaging the flashlight, for example, due to leakage of substances from the battery.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
• If the flashlight flashes, does not switch to a higher output, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  
  • The battery is discharged; charge it.
  • The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The flashlight body is loose; tighten it.
