Fenix CL26R rechargeable lamp, black

Fenix CL26R is a practical portable rechargeable lamp that you can use to light a room, a tent or a work table. The highly bright diodes hidden under the cylindrical diffuser provide a luminous flux of up to 400 lumens (ANSI) and last up to 400 hours. The lantern is powered by an 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh (included in the package), which is charged directly in the lantern using a micro-USB connector. In case of emergency, the lantern can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries. The lantern offers a total of eight lighting modes, including bottom and side lighting, and there is also a red light that does not disturb the adaptation of the eyes to the dark.

Side and bottom lighting are very practical functions with the advantage of significant energy savings. They are particularly suitable in situations where circular omnidirectional lighting is not required. The lantern is also equipped with a function to extend the duration. During prolonged use in turbo (400 lumens) and high (150 lumens) modes, the lantern gradually reduces power in small steps to achieve a longer lighting time.

Thanks to the durable and impact-resistant construction with IP66 protection, the light can be safely used even in adverse weather (heavy rain). The upper side of the lantern is equipped with a hanging eye and a strong neodymium magnet, so it can be easily hung or fixed to anything iron. The mounting options are further expanded by the thread on the tripod, which is also on the upper side of the lantern. Thanks to its compact dimensions and weight of 165 grams, the lantern is particularly suitable for camping and hiking.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

The use:

From the factory, there may be a black insulating cap inside the lantern on the battery. Remove it from the battery before first use. To turn on or off, press and hold the side button for 1 second. Six levels of white light power are cyclically switched by a short press of the button, the red light is activated by a double quick press of the button. Press again to switch to red flashing mode and press twice to return to white light modes.

The lantern is equipped with the function of extending the endurance. During prolonged use in turbo (400 lumens) and high (150 lumens) modes, the lantern gradually reduces power in small steps to achieve a longer lighting time.

Warning of a discharged battery - the lamp will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode.

Charging the Fenix CL26R lantern

To charge the lantern, unfold the rubber cover of the micro-USB connector. Connect it using the included USB cable to a computer, USB network adapter or USB car adapter. A standard mobile phone charger with a micro-USB connector or a POWERBANK can also be used for charging. During charging, the indicator LED above the side button flashes and shows the charging progress. They will remain lit after charging.

The battery does not suffer from a memory effect, so it can be recharged at any time and there is no need to wait until it is discharged. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approx. 2.5 - 4 hours (depending on the power of the charging source used).

During charging, the lantern can only be switched to 40 lumens mode.

Battery charge status indication - after a short press of the button (the lantern must be switched off), the LED battery charge status indicator above the control button is activated. Four lit LEDs mean that the battery is more than 80% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit means 40-60%, one 20-40% and one flashing diode means that the battery is less than 20% charged.

Notice:

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the lamp yourself, this will void the warranty.

• When using disposable CR123A batteries, do not try to charge them in the lamp.

• If the lamp flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:

  • The battery is almost empty - charge it.
  • The electrical contacts are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The battery cap is loose, tighten it.
