Fenix CL28R Work Light + Power Bank

Fenix CL28R is a multifunctional rechargeable lantern with an integrated power bank. It serves excellently as a rechargeable work light, a light for photographers, and as a light for household use, tents, or cars. A high-brightness COB LED provides a luminous flux of up to 2000 lumens (ANSI), with adjustable intensity via a rotary control. In addition to continuously adjustable white light, the flashlight also offers two red light modes - a constant luminous flux of 9 lumens and a strobe with the same output of 9 lumens.



Thanks to its durable and impact-resistant construction with IP66 rating, the light withstands adverse weather conditions and drops from a height of 1.5 meters. The light's versatile mounting options are ensured by a 360° rotatable handle with built-in magnets, and it also features a tripod thread.



All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.



Using the Fenix CL28R Rechargeable Lantern

To turn on the white light mode, rotate control A clockwise. This allows you to continuously adjust the light output from lowest to highest. To decrease the output, rotate control A counter-clockwise. To turn off the white light, rotate control A counter-clockwise until it clicks in the end position.



To change the color temperature of the light when the lantern is on, rotate control B clockwise. The light shade will change from warmest to coolest. Rotating in the opposite direction does the reverse.



By pressing and holding the orange button on the turned-off flashlight, you will activate the red light mode. Short presses of the orange button cycle between steady red light and strobe. Pressing and holding the button again will turn off the red light. The red light mode cannot be activated while the white light is on; you must first turn off the white light using rotary control A. To switch from red light mode to white light mode, simply turn on the white light by rotating control A clockwise.



Battery Capacity Indication

When the lantern is off, a short press of the orange button activates the four status LEDs on the front of the lantern. The number of illuminated LEDs indicates the approximate battery charge level (20-40%, 40-60%, 60-80%, over 80%). When the battery is below 20% capacity, the last status LED will flash.



Charging the Fenix CL28R Lantern

To charge the light, open the rubber cover of the USB connectors. Connect it using the included USB cable to a computer, a wall USB adapter, or a car USB adapter. A standard mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can also be used for charging. During charging, the status LEDs flash from left to right; once fully charged, all LEDs will remain lit. After charging is complete, ensure the rubber cover for the connectors is securely closed to prevent dirt ingress.



The battery does not suffer from a memory effect, so it can be recharged at any time without waiting for it to be fully discharged. Charging a completely depleted lantern takes approximately 4 hours (depending on the power of the charging source used).



The light can be used while charging.



To power external USB devices (power bank function), connect a cable to the USB-C or USB-A connector (both cannot be used simultaneously). The status LEDs will then flash from right to left. Once the battery voltage drops too low (below 2.9 V), the power bank function will stop. The light can be used while charging other devices.



Note

Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty. If the flashlight flashes, does not switch to higher output modes, or does not turn on, the battery is depleted - please recharge it.
