Patizon D 590 Sleeping Bag

The lightweight three-season sleeping bag called D 590 is a piece that everyone should have at home. As is the good habit for Patizon, you won't be carrying any extra grams, while enjoying quality workmanship and top materials. Some daredevils will use this piece all year round. On the D 590, you will find a straight zipper on the front of the sleeping bag, which has improved not only the thermal insulation properties of the sleeping bag, but also the zipper handling and the packed volume.

Anatomically shaped hood

A properly cut and shaped hood is the alpha and omega of thermal comfort. We lose a relatively large amount of heat through the surface of our head, which is why the hood is such a fundamental element of the sleeping bag. The hood drawcord is, of course, one-touch, and at the same time it is placed at "11 o'clock" to be as comfortably accessible as possible from the sleeping bag.

Patizon sleeping bags have an anatomical cut. This means they follow the shape of the body to be as effective as possible in retaining heat. The shape is further refined - for example, so that the sleeping bag is wide enough in the shoulders to allow you to fold wet socks and put on dry ones while zipped up in the sleeping bag. The leg area is then, of course, designed with a specific number and position of chambers to maximize insulation for cold-sensitive legs.

The entire main zipper is, of course, lined with a down-filled insulating flap to prevent precious heat from escaping. Thanks to the straight zipper construction, the entire insulation is more effective and the use of the zipper is easier. Around the shoulders, there is another insulating flap, adjustable, constructed so that no Velcro or snaps are needed.

A clever zipper that does what you need.

Patizon sleeping bags use top Japanese YKK zippers. Furthermore, they utilize intelligent semi-automatic sliders with two positions - STOP and GO. In the STOP position (puller downwards), the zipper is locked in its position and does not unzip without being secured by a snap or Velcro. In the GO position (slider up), the zipper can be opened by simply pulling it sideways. Fast and effective. The zipper is, of course, equipped with a pleasant puller for reliable and comfortable fastening.

Smart details. And something extra.

An internal zipper pocket is a matter of course. You simply must keep camera batteries or a smartphone warm. We don't even mention the loops for hanging the sleeping bag, they are also part of the standard equipment. Additionally, you get a spacious storage bag so that the sleeping bag is stored properly and maintains its lifespan as long as possible. And then, of course, you get a compression bag. Lightweight, yet durable. It can compress an already small sleeping bag to an absolute minimum.

The compression drawstring bag reduces the volume of the sleeping bag up to 13 times and is supplied together with the sleeping bag
Internal pocket with dimensions 20 x 12 cm will serve as storage for items you need to have at hand, or protected from frost (batteries, medicines, etc.)
Insulating baffle along the entire zipper is filled with down and eliminates heat loss
The covering flap along the entire length of the zipper prevents the slider from snagging
Self-locking one-hand tightening of the inner collar and face opening
Anatomically shaped hood allows head movement both in a lying and sitting position
The collar around the anatomically shaped hood is filled with top-quality synthetic insulation Climashield, which limits heat loss, better resists exhaled moisture, and prevents pressure marks from the drawstring.

The mummy shape of the sleeping bag follows the shape of the body, but compared to the G series, the D is more comfortable - wider in the legs and shoulders
