For those who are going to the mountains for the first time, the OLYMPUS 450 is an excellent down sleeping bag, especially if you have a more modest budget. It offers a well-thought-out and convincing set of features, which include, for example, feathers conforming to the DOWN CODEX® standard or PFC-free fabrics. Better packability, lower weight and probably longer life than almost any comparable synthetic sleeping bag, the OLYMPUS 450 is the ideal sleeping bag for spring, summer and early fall.

  • The surface material HELIUM TM 30 D is light, highly breathable and wind-resistant and treated with PFC-free water-resistant DWR treatment.
  • 450 g of duck feathers 80/20 with a minimum filling of 600 cuin.
  • Alpine Fit 2.0 cut - for maximum thermal efficiency at minimum weight.
  • Slanted chambers – for maximum thermal efficiency with minimal weight.
  • Anatomically shaped hood with 5 chambers.

HELIUM 30 – ultralight outer material of the sleeping bag

Helium 30 material is light, breathable and at the same time very durable. The high density of the weaving does not allow feathers to pass through, it is resistant to wind and prevents heat loss. Thanks to the water-repellent DWR treatment without PFC, it is additionally resistant to water. This material is ideal where high abrasion and wind resistance are the most important factors.

The inner material SUPERSOFT TM 30 is chosen for its low weight, high breathability, exceptional durability and pleasant feeling to the touch. It is also a feather-proof material.

Duck feathers with 600+ fill

Quality duck feathers originating from China contain at least 80% down, its filling is at least 600 cuin and meets the ethical DOWN CODEX ®. The feathers are gently cleaned with water without chemical treatment. This destroys mites and the environment for their life, which will be appreciated by allergy sufferers. The feathers retain their important fatness and loft, are easily packable, have high insulation and low weight.
