The Artic SL SPIN is an uncompromising slalom helmet designed for competitive skiers that provides maximum safety and performance.
The Artic SL SPIN features a unique removable and adjustable Maxilla chin guard that can be fixed or adjusted to break away at different impact levels.
The helmet was developed based on feedback from our professional athletes and medical experts, the entire concept of the helmet is at the heart of our design process; using optimized materials throughout the helmet, such as an advanced EPP liner with multiple impact zones and a very robust ABS shell, resulting in a very safe and durable helmet. In addition, to meet the specific needs of slalom racers, the helmet is also equipped with POC's patented VPD 2.0 technology, which reduces impact force and directs energy away from the helmet liner.
The Maxilla chin guard has been designed to minimize any potential neck or face injury and to meet the needs of different types of slalom skiers and courses. The innovative and simple self-adjustment system gives racers all the flexibility they need for training and race day. SPIN (Shearing Pad INside) is our patented silicone pad system that uses innovative materials to complement POC's overall approach to safety. Together with a precise and fully adjustable ventilation system, the Artic SL SPIN provides a complete package for serious slalom skiers.
