Designed for mountaineering, alpinism and skitouring, the METEOR helmet is light, low and well ventilated, so it is comfortable both in summer and winter. The construction provides reinforced protection from above and around the head. METEOR is the first CE certified helmet for skitouring. It is equipped with integrated points for ski goggles or a shield. This helmet does not meet the requirements of the EN 1077 standard for alpine skiing helmets.
Lightweight, low, ventilated helmet:
- Size S/M weighs 225 g and size M/L 240 g
- Low helmet profile achieved by using an extruded polystyrene (EPS) foam liner construction that is injected into a lightweight polycarbonate shell
- Large vents offer excellent air ventilation
- Quality finish and elegant design
Enhanced Protection:
- Designed according to the Petzl TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION label
- Designed for optimal protection against side, front and rear impacts
Suitable for ski touring:
- CE certified helmet for skitouring
- Optimal ventilation both during ascent and descent, the helmet can be worn comfortably throughout the hike
- The front part of the helmet is specially designed for the integration of ski goggles
- The back elastic band is compatible with the elastic band of ski goggles
- The semi-rigid headband is easy to adjust even when wearing gloves
- Two front clips and a rear elastic strap for attaching the headlamp to the helmet
- Compatible with VIZION and SKREEN eye shields
NOTE: This helmet does not meet the requirements of the EN 1077 alpine skiing helmet standard
