Grivel The North Machine ice axe, pink
Grivel The North Machine is a technical ice axe designed for ice climbing and mixed climbing. It uses the modular Vario system with a Total Ice Vario tip, optimized for pure ice climbing, and a Simple Vario end cap, which reduces weight and leaves a clean, "naked" back of the ice axe. The double curvature of the handle improves handling and precise jamming in steep terrain.
The anatomically shaped handle provides a secure grip and protects your fingers from impacts, and there is an integrated hand rest at the bottom for better support during pulls. The forged head is replaceable using an Allen key and allows the use of different types of tips and accessories depending on the nature of the output.
