Grivel North Machine Carbon Ice Axe
Grivel THE NORTH MACHINE CARBON is a technical ice axe designed for ice climbing and mixed climbing. Thanks to its carbon construction, it is very stiff and significantly reduces vibrations when jamming. It has two curvatures for precise stroke guidance and easy handling in steep lines. The anatomically shaped handle with finger protection and a support at the bottom provides a secure and comfortable grip even during long climbs.
The ice axe is equipped with a KATANA ICE VARIO tip and a SIMPLE VARIO end cap. The forged head can be easily replaced with an Allen key and the Vario system allows you to combine different tips and a shovel or mallet as needed. There is a hole in the head for attaching a carabiner or tying a loop. The model is available in a version with or without a hammer, shovel or spade.
