Grivel North Machine Carbon Ice Axe Ice + Thor Vario
Grivel The North Machine Carbon is a very lightweight technical ice axe designed for demanding ice climbing and mixed lines. The carbon construction gives the pole high rigidity and significantly reduces vibrations when jamming, which improves accuracy and comfort during long climbs. The double curvature of the handle makes it easier to jam and manipulate in steep passages and increases confidence in technical terrain.
The innovative, anatomically shaped handle provides a secure grip and protects your fingers, while the lower armrest improves traction and control during heavier steps. The ice axe is equipped with a Hammer Vario hammer and an Ice Vario tip, while the Vario system allows for easy replacement of tips and rear attachments according to the conditions. The forged head can be easily removed with an Allen key, and the hole in the head is used to snap a carabiner or attach a loop.
