The Dynafit TLT8 Expedition CR Women model with a weight of only 1,040 grams (size 25.5) is a real rarity among two-buckle ski touring ski boots.
To achieve the maximum speed of switching from climbing to downhill mode, without compromising on comfort and safety during climbing, the shoe is equipped with a new intuitive Ultra Lock 4.0 switching with very simple operation. The top buckle on the Dynafit TLT8 Expedition CR Women performs two functions: it acts as a lever to control the switching mechanism and opens the cuff.
Both cuffs are micro-adjustable, so the size can be easily adjusted according to the size of the foot. The system can be easily operated even with gloves on. The rotation of the cuff in the range of 60 degrees enables natural, economical movement even in very steep terrain.
The shortened shape of the tip, the so-called Speed Nose, allows a further weight reduction of 15% and ensures 12% more efficiency when walking by moving the pivot point 4mm back. The innovative shape of the Dynafit TLT8 Expedition CR Women shoe is available in a narrower, sportier design with a width of 103mm.
They differ from the Dynafit TLT8 Expedition CL Women with a Custom Ready inner boot with a higher weight of 270 g, focused a little more on comfort and touring.
In the downhill position, the boot can be locked to an angle of 15 or 18 degrees, which enables dynamic downward movement.
You will appreciate another advantage of the Dynafit TLT8 Expedition CR Women boots when moving on an icy surface, traverses, or during a particularly steep ascent without skis: the boots are compatible with the new ultralight Cramp-In boots developed in cooperation with the SALEWA brand.
