The TRAILTALON MAX is one of the most cushioned trail running shoe models in the Inov8 portfolio. The improved anatomical shape of the shoe is exactly what you need for long distances.
FLYSPEED™ Pro supercritical foam cushioning is a soft, responsive nitrogen-based foam, which extends the life of the cushioning. The midsole reaches a height of 24 mm under the heel, which already means proper protection against hard impacts on the surface. The 6 mm medium drop will not detract from the naturalness of your run and at the same time facilitate the transition from landing to takeoff. The BOOMERANG TPU insole adds to the comfort.
This wide version with enough room for the thumb will support proper finger function. On the other hand, the reinforcements in the instep area fix the foot sufficiently so that you have maximum confidence in the shoe even on technical terrain. The sewn-in tongue prevents stones from getting inside. The overall durability of the upper is complemented by a rubber lining and a thumb protector.
The aggressive pattern with 6mm studs ensures great traction in waterlogged and muddy terrain. The new sample design is inspired by chamois hooves. Channels inside the plugs effectively drain water. G-GRIP with graphene admixture increases abrasion resistance and overall grip.
