This shoe is not good, this shoe is completely exceptional and now it comes in a new color design. Dozens of medals from world championships only confirm this self-confidence. The X-talon gained a privileged position in cross country, uphill, trail, orienteering and now also in obstacle courses.
The ingenious x-talon sole with a soft contact mixture offers an unrivaled grip. Whether you are running in open terrain, a forest path, mud, snow or climbing a rope during an obstacle race, you can rely on it. The sole mixture is very similar to the sole mixture used to make climbers. Thanks to this, x-talon also has an excellent grip on stones and rocks (apart from wet lime). The height of the midsole in the heel 13 mm, the height of the midsole in the toe 7 mm and the inclination 6 mm offer an optimal combination of cushioning and proprioception for the toe top.
The relatively narrow upper has a trench around the entire perimeter, which firmly fixes the foot in the bed of the shoe, so you can rely on maximum performance even in heavy traverses. The solid upper is provided with a DWR coating, which solves the temporary water resistance. In any case, the material is non-absorbent, holds its shape and still provides excellent breathability.
There are 2 pockets on the heel for attaching the original RACE ULTRA Gaiter ankle boot, which significantly insulates the ankle, prevents snow and other dirt from penetrating into the shoe and thus increases the experience and length of your run in adverse conditions. Flat cords do not press on the instep, we definitely recommend double fixation. The softer heel does not push the Achilles tendon, so overall the shoe blends beautifully with the feet and thus forms a balanced whole. The 212ka is one of the most accurate shoes that can accurately read the running surface.
