The Tarantula of the Italian brand La Sportiva is a very popular model among recreational climbers and beginners. You will appreciate their good design, comfort and they won't climb right away. Of course, they are mainly used on an artificial wall, but you can certainly make a lot of nice ascents with them when you are starting out on the rocks. The FriXion sole from the black range has the most grippy type of rubber, so the shoes fit well even if you don't have perfect technique yet. Climbing shoes will fit well on a normal or wider foot.
