The Ferrino Hekla 1 is a 4-season, single-person tent designed for mountaineering and trekking in challenging conditions. The dome structure with five duralumin rods made of hardened 7001 T6 aluminum alloy provides high stability even in wind and snow, while the inner tent is hung on the flysheet for quick and easy construction. The emphasis on reliability, thermal insulation and universal use makes this model a surefire choice for year-round expeditions.
The canopy made of durable nylon with a ripstop structure and a thermally insulating aluminized layer protects against adverse weather and promotes thermal comfort during cold nights. The inner tent made of breathable, water-repellent polyester and the robust groundsheet made of 100% recycled polyester with an insulating layer increase resistance to moisture and cold from the ground. Taped seams and reinforced corners of the floor increase durability during long-term use in the field.
The front vestibule provides space for handling equipment and protecting the entrance, the fully opening door with an external mosquito net improves ventilation comfort, and the ventilation sleeves are also adapted for bad weather. Practical inner pockets, equipment loops, a lamp hook, reflective storm cords and a tensioning system in the corners of the flysheet make everyday use easier. The tent comes with a transport bag, repair kit and instructional video available via QR code.
