The Fenix ​​WH35RE is a safe work headlamp for explosive environments, designed for various areas with a risk of explosion, except for underground mines. It is equipped with ATEX/IECex certification. It offers a maximum output of 280 lumens and is powered by one specially modified Li-ion battery ARB-L21-3000Ex with a capacity of 3000 mAh (included), which is recharged directly in the lamp via a modern USB-C connector. The practicality of the headlamp is increased by the ability to remove the light from the head mount and use it as a pocket or work light. Additionally, the headlamp is equipped with a removable steel clip, so you can easily attach it to a pocket or strap. Its large switch allows for easy and precise control – even with gloves.

The WH35RE has been certified by several explosion-proof certifications, including IECEx, ATEX, and GRGT. Therefore, this product is safe for use in explosive atmospheres classified as zones 1 and 2, as well as in areas with combustible dust classified as zones 21 and 22. This includes environments such as the petroleum, chemical and textile industries, fire fighting, metallurgical areas, power plants and paper mills, etc.

Controlling

From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the lamp on the battery. Before first use , remove it from the battery.

On/Off: With the headlamp off, press and hold the switch for 0.5 seconds to switch to general mode. With the headlamp off, press the switch twice quickly to enter emergency mode (Extreme mode). With the headlamp on, press and hold the switch for 0.5 seconds to turn it off.

Switching power modes: In normal mode, pressing the switch once cycles between 30 → 100 → 280 lumens. In emergency mode, you can choose between 5 lumens and SOS modes with a single press of the switch.

Battery charge status indication: If the headlamp is turned off, pressing the button once briefly will turn on the battery charge status indication for 3 seconds, which is displayed by the colored backlight of the button:

• Constant Green: 100% - 85%
• Green Flashing: 85% - 50%
• Constant Red: 50% - 25%
• Red flashing: 25% or less (recharge the headlamp as soon as possible)

Charging: Plug the charging cable into the USB adapter, then plug the adapter into a power outlet. Flip open the dust cover on the headlamp and plug the USB-C charging cable into the charging port. Put the dust cap back on after charging is complete. During charging, the indicator in the button lights up red. It will turn green when fully charged. Do not charge the headlamp in an explosive environment. When charging, use the included charging adapter to ensure safety.

Low battery warning: If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will reduce the brightness to a lower level. When the lowest power is reached, the battery charge indicator will flash red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.
