Using the Fenix ​​TK35R flashlight

The battery may have insulating caps on it from the factory. Remove them before first use.

The FlexiSensa Control rotary knob at the end of the flashlight allows you to select the desired lighting mode: white light - locked - UV light.

On/Off - When the flashlight is unlocked, press the main tactical button on the end of the flashlight to turn it on, press the button halfway for instant activation.

Switching power modes and strobe - By pressing the secondary function button, you can switch between power modes of the selected light type at any time during operation. The maximum 5800 lumen mode can be directly activated at any time with the flashlight unlocked by holding down the main tactical button for 0.5 seconds. To switch to strobe mode when the flashlight is on, hold the toggle button for 0.5 seconds. To turn the flashlight directly into strobe mode, press and hold the toggle button.

Note: Since UV light is generally invisible to the human eye, users may miss its activation in bright environments. To prevent unnecessary risks or damage caused by accidentally leaving the UV light on, the indicator in the function switch flashes red and green alternately when the UV light is on.

Lock/Off Mode - When the flashlight is on in any mode, turn the rotary switch to lock/off mode to turn off and lock the flashlight. It is then not possible to turn on the flashlight by pressing the buttons.

Memory for the last set mode - The flashlight has a memory and will always turn on in the last set mode, except for the strobe.

Replacing batteries - Unscrew the flashlight body and insert the batteries with the positive pole facing the flashlight head. Then tighten the body completely again.

Charging - Slide the charging port cover on the end of the flashlight, then connect the USB-C charging cable to the flashlight. The indicator in the switch button lights up red during charging and turns green when fully charged. If charging fails or the batteries are inserted upside down, the battery status indicator will flash red or remain off to alert the user to check the batteries. When using a powerful 9 V/3 A USB power supply, fully discharged batteries are charged in 2 hours, when using a 5 V/2.4 A USB power supply, they are charged in 4 hours.

Battery charge status indication - Every time the flashlight is turned on, the indicator LED in the switch button is activated for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the batteries are more than 85% charged. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it is red, the batteries have 25-50% capacity left. Blinking red means less than 25% of battery capacity remains.

Low battery warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the flashlight will reduce the brightness to a lower level. When the lowest power is reached, the battery status indicator will slowly flash red to remind users to recharge or replace the batteries in time.

Intelligent overheating protection - If the battery temperature exceeds 60°C, the power will be automatically reduced. As soon as the temperature drops below 60°C, the power will gradually increase again.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the battery yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Keep the flashlight out of reach of children!
• Do not shine the flashlight directly into your own or anyone else's eyes!
• When exposed to UV light, protect your eyes with glasses equipped with a UV filter.
• Never use different discharged batteries or batteries with different capacities.
• Lock the flashlight or loosen the body a few turns to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings also need to be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
• If the flashlight is blinking, not switching to higher power modes, or not turning on, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  
  • Batteries are low - replace them.
  • The contacts inside the flashlight or battery holder are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The flashlight body is loose - add lubricant to the o-rings and tighten.
