Compact and lightweight backpack, ideal for day trips or commuting. The Outdoor Backpack 18L offers all the comfort and versatility of Peak Design's larger backpacks, but in a simplified design that fits both the outdoors and the city. It's designed to work seamlessly with a wide range of Peak Design* organizers, offering perfect organization and protection for your gear – including your camera.

The running vest-style straps do a great job of distributing the load from the shoulders and arms over most of the body, while providing ideal storage space in the form of two mesh stretch pockets. Ideal for quick access to your phone or for carrying a soft flask. At the same time, you will find attachment points for the Capture Camera Clip* on both straps.
This backpack is highly abrasion-resistant and functionally waterproof thanks to Terra Shell™ 210D ripstop nylon, which is 100% recycled, Bluesign certified, treated with PFAS-free impregnation and equipped with an internal PU coating. The optional Rain Fly* provides full water protection.
The large rear access panel makes packing easier and provides an ideal format for carrying photo and video equipment in combination with Peak Design Camera Cubes*, which can be securely attached inside the backpack. 3 large external Flex Pockets™ provide easy access to large items you want to keep close at hand (water bottles, hiking poles, jackets, tripods), while always maintaining a clean look and not looking disorganized. External Cord Hook™ straps and elastic Gear Loops offer endless options for attaching items to the outside of the pack, while the ubiquitous Cord Rails™ webbing provides attachment points on all sides of the pack. You can even attach Peak Design Ultralight Packing Cubes* for modular external storage. The backpack is Fair Trade certified and carbon neutral. Holds 1 Camera Cube size Smedium (or Small).
