With 27 liters of usable volume, you can pack everything you need for your tours, and there's also the option to attach skis, an ice axe, poles, a hydration pack, or a helmet. Everything at hand
The main compartment has a waterproof two-way zipper that opens wide enough so you can see everything immediately and clearly. The interior is bright for better orientation in low light. The main compartment contains a compartment for avalanche equipment and a buckle for a water reservoir. There is a small front pocket for a map, compass, and other navigation equipment. This pocket also has a plastic carabiner for keys.
Simply elegant and durable
The AVABAG LiTRIC ZERO 27 avalanche backpack has no unnecessary straps or elastic bands, only functional elements. ORTOVOX designers have ensured a very clean look even when carrying an ice axe, helmet, and skis on it. Although the backpack is made of a soft-touch material, the Dyneema® fabric used is extremely tear-resistant and very light. Every detail of the backpack is processed with high quality, durable materials are used, so you don't have to worry about ski edges or ice axe points.

Two strong outdoor brands, German Ortovox and Canadian Arc'teryx, have joined forces to create a new rescue system for avalanche backpacks. The airbag is filled with ambient air using a fan powered by a supercapacitor. LiTRIC combines the advantages of both electronic and mechanical systems. 100% Made in Bavaria.
A supercapacitor is a capacitor with very high electrical capacity.
Unlike a battery, which uses electrochemical reactions, a capacitor stores energy through static charge. A supercapacitor is ideal when a large amount of electrical energy needs to be delivered in a short time. This is exactly what the avalanche backpack fan needs to fill the airbag with ambient air. In the LiTRIC, the power source is an integrated Li-Ion battery, the kind you know from your mobile phone. Charging is very simple - via a USB-C cable, which is included in the package. Charging takes 2-3 hours. On a single charge, the airbag can be activated twice, but after the first activation, you need to wait about 25 minutes for the supercapacitor to regenerate, and the second inflation will proceed without problems. On the side of the backpack, in the area of the system, there is a mesh window through which a traffic light is visible, indicating the system's charge status (Green/Orange/Red).
