An ultra-light backpack for ambitious athletes who want to climb many meters and know that saving weight also saves energy. You will not tire yourself unnecessarily carrying a heavy backpack and at the same time you have all your equipment firmly attached to the backpack.
The ORTOVOX ASCENT 32 backpack is made of abrasion-resistant ripstop material and additionally has a reinforced front part to increase resistance to the sharp edges of skis or snowboards, or the spikes of snowshoes or crampons. Comfortable shoulder straps and a waist belt, which is connected directly to the 3D back system, took care of distributing the weight of the full backpack.
Low weight without compromising on quality
ORTOVOX ASCENT 32 is a light, but nevertheless very strong and comfortable backpack. It has no unnecessary straps or rubber bands, but only functional elements. ORTOVOX designers took care of a very clean look even when you carry ice axes and skis on it. The backpack feels to the touch as if it were made of a soft material, but the fabric used is extremely durable with a ripstop weave against tearing. Every detail of the backpack is elaborated, durable materials are used, and you have another piece of equipment that you can rely on as much as possible.

You can attach all equipment for high-altitude tourism, mountaineering and ski mountaineering to the ORTOVOX ASCENT 32 backpack. Each piece of equipment has its place, is attached firmly and assembly is quick and easy.

Comfortable back system for all-day wear
The spine system is made of 3D pressed memory foam. The back is softer to better follow the movement of the body and not push any edge. The shoulder straps and hip belt are sewn directly onto the back system, so the weight of the full backpack is distributed evenly. The chest belt stabilizes the shoulder straps, which you will especially appreciate when skiing.

Entering like a suitcase - everything clearly arranged
The main compartment of the ORTOVOX ASCENT 32 backpack has a perimeter zipper. You can open the entire backpack and have everything neatly arranged, similar to a suitcase. For clarity even in the dark, the inside of the backpack is bright - you can find all the equipment at a glance. On the back of the main compartment is a pocket for the water reservoir and the outlet for the tube is in the middle of the backpack between the shoulder straps
Separate pocket for avalanche equipment
The danger of avalanches is relentless, and therefore a large part of the design of the backpack is adapted to simple and quick use in stressful situations. The front pocket serves to store avalanche equipment. The red zipper handles indicate the pocket for the avalanche probe and shovel.
Inside you will also find a print with signals and contacts for emergency communication. The chest strap includes an emergency whistle. The bag has separate compartments for the shovel, handle and probe.
Practical pockets to facilitate a day in the field
In the front you will find a pocket for a map, a compass and other navigational equipment. During the hike, you have a map at hand and you don't have to look for it at the bottom of your backpack. There is also a plastic carabiner for keys in this bag - a very practical thing to have next to the car after a hike.
On the upper side of the backpack there is a pocket for a mobile phone, a camera or a small camera. The goal is again to separate the equipment you want to have on hand. You can get into the pocket even if you have a backpack on your back. Just put your hand behind your head and the zipper is within reach.
