The city backpack is made from Fjällräven's own G-1000® HeavyDuty Eco fabric. This fabric is characterized by high resistance to tearing, cutting and deformation. Thanks to the Greenland Wax surface treatment, the contents of the backpack are protected against moisture and light rain. Water falling on the wax pearls and does not penetrate the fabric. In addition, the G-1000® HeavyDuty Eco fabric consists of recycled polyester and organic cotton. The first of them is produced sustainably from recycled materials and plastic bottles. This process reduces CO2 emissions by up to 75% and reduces the amount of waste collected in landfills. On the other hand, organic cotton, which is breathable and pleasant to the touch, is grown without strengthening with chemical fertilizers.
