Efficient cooling and long service life. The 170 COOL range is the ideal choice for hot summer days in the mountains thanks to its high resistance and cooling Tencel™ fibers.

Fine Tasmanian merino wool is pleasantly soft on the skin and naturally regulates temperature and humidity. Lyo Tencel™ Cellulose fibers provide a pleasant cooling effect thanks to their flat surface and high degree of moisture removal. The durability of the material is provided by sustainably grown hemp, which is known for its tensile strength and flexibility, and makes the 170 COOL range a 100% natural product. Hemp is particularly environmentally friendly because it needs 80% less water than cotton and can be grown completely without pesticides and herbicides.

Comfort and stylish design

The women's T-shirt 170 COOL VERTICAL TS has a casual cut that guarantees optimal freedom of movement during sports climbing. Its asymmetric design and natural colors give it a stylishly understated look that will leave a lasting impression even outside the climbed rock.

The highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania for all underwear. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. The length of all fibers used is at least 6 cm, which is not standard in the production of woolen linen. The longer the fibers, the stronger the yarns can be obtained, which prevent the formation of holes when the material is worn. The quality of the fibers is primarily determined by its length, fineness and the same diameter of the individual fibers.

ORTOVOX also has demanding criteria for sheep breeding itself, which significantly affects the quality of its wool. In order to fulfill this, ORTOVOX buys wool only from a few selected farms, which are subject to regular inspection. ORTOVOX checks 64 different quality criteria that every farm must meet. Thanks to this, the wool used in ORTOVOX underwear is only of the highest quality.

If you discover a manufacturing defect, be it a fraying seam, external fraying or a non-functioning zipper, just send the product to us and we will take care of its repair, replacement or refund. For out-of-warranty repairs, ORTOVOX has its own service center where it repairs everything.

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims. Except for safety systems and finders, they also offer apparel, backpacks, shovels, probes, and other freeride and alpine equipment.
