New Beta-spun technical yarn with proven natural properties. Thanks to beta-spun technology, ORTOVOX comes with an improved popular 150 COOL collection - now the materials used are even more durable and stable than ever before.

The new 150 COOL series is more durable and stronger, but at the same time retains the natural cooling properties of the Tencel ^TM fiber. Beta-spun technology from the SÜDWOLLE Group is based on a new spinning method in which polyamide fibers are wrapped around a core of Merino wool and Tencel ^TM. Thanks to the protective layer of polyamide, the resulting material is more resistant to abrasion and tearing, but at the same time retains the key properties of merino wool yarns and Tencel ^TM fibers. With this collection, you are equipped for everything from alpine tours to alpine climbing.

The highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.

ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.

These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a feeling of softness thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine woolen yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial effects, and it is very easy to care for.

Uncompromising two-year warranty

ORTOVOX products are made of the highest quality, which is why solving any complaints is really easy. If you discover a manufacturing defect, whether it's a fraying seam, external fraying or a non-functioning zipper, just send the product to us and we'll take care of its repair, replacement, or refund. For out-of-warranty repairs, ORTOVOX has its own service center where it repairs everything.

It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims.
