One hundred percent natural fiber, made from wood cellulose. It is completely degradable and its production is also very environmentally friendly. It has a cooling effect and in combination with Merino wool it forms the best material for spring and summer. It is silky smooth, ideal for children's delicate skin and for sensitive skin. It has many of the same qualities as wool.

Norse company Devold produces wool base layers. In 1853, Ole Andreas Devold founded this company in Ålesund. A tradition dating back as this one is unique - it is surely the oldest producer of the wool base layer in the world.
Devold's base layers range from the light collection ''Breeze'' (which is best for the warmer months and sweatier activities) to the ''Expedition'' collection (best for very cold conditions). Other than base layers for every activity, they also make sweaters, headwear, gloves, socks and more.
