Technical men's shorts ORTOVOX COL BECCHEI SHORTS are perfect for demanding ski tours in alpine terrain. They are particularly light, strong and flexible. The main material is MERINO NATURETEC LIGHT, which provides excellent breathability and flexibility, but is still windproof. The front is lined with a wind-resistant WRAP KNIT membrane, and the back uses a DERMIZAX ® NX membrane, which is completely wind and water resistant.

Combination of synthetics and wool for maximum durability and functionality
ORTOVOX COL BECCHEI SHORTS emphasize breathability and wind resistance. Therefore, MERINO NATURTEC LIGHT softshell from the Swiss company Schoeller® is used as the main material. The wool on the inside wicks away sweat quickly and keeps you warm even after the pants are sweaty.
Reliable resistance against wind and water
In the front part, there are inserts made of a special three-layer WARP KNIT material with a windproof membrane, which protect against adverse weather, but still remain breathable. Air pockets in the fabric provide lightweight insulation.
The DERMIZAX ® NX membrane is used on the back, which is completely wind and water resistant. The width-adjustable waistband with drawstring offers easy adjustment, and its merino wool lining provides even more comfort. Side zippers along the entire length allow quick dressing and undressing of the shorts.
Only flat seams are used on the trousers, which do not press in any way. In order to protect the environment, the shorts are PFC-free.
The highest quality Merino wool
ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.
- ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
- Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.
These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a feeling of softness thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine woolen yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, thanks to its antibacterial effects, Merino wool neutralizes odors and is very easy to care for.
