Mountain Equipment FROSTLINE SHORT shorts contain 54g of 700 cuin feathers, have two full-zip side zippers and two pockets. You can easily put them on or take them off whenever and wherever you need to. They only take up a minimum of space in your backpack.

DRILITE® Loft 20 D - resistant to water and wind
DRILITE® Loft 20 D is a strong and light waterproof surface material with a PU coating. It is highly breathable and resistant to water and wind. It also has a water-repellent DWR treatment on the surface, which further contributes to keeping the feathers dry even in wet conditions. The feathers are thus protected from getting wet and thus also from losing their heat-insulating properties. Thanks to its water resistance and low weight, the feathers maintain a high loft for maximum thermal insulation in any conditions.

Quality duck feathers with 700+ fill
Very high-quality duck feathers from China contain at least 90% down, its filling is at least 700 cuin and meets the ethical DOWN CODEX®. The feathers are gently cleaned with water without chemical treatment. This destroys mites and the environment for their life, which will be appreciated by allergy sufferers. The feathers retain their important fatness and loft, are packable well, have high insulation and low weight.

Feather shorts with DRILITE® Loft 20 D waterproof material
The outer fabric of the FROSTLINE SHORT down shorts is made of DRILITE® Loft 20 D polyamide material, which protects the feathers from getting wet and thus also from losing thermal insulation properties. At the same time, this material, thanks to its softness and lightness, enables the maximum loft (inflating the chambers) of the feathers, which significantly supports the thermal insulation properties.

Each chamber is individually filled with down with a minimum ratio of 90/10 with an excellent filling capacity of 700 cuin. FROSTLINE SHORT will be appreciated above all by ski alpinists who need minimal weight, warmth and at the same time want to avoid wetting the feathers, which worsens the insulating properties.

You simply put on and take off
The FROSTLINE SHORT has two-way zippers on both sides of the thighs. Both zippers are fully adjustable, thanks to which you can put on or take off the shorts quickly and easily at any time without the need to take them off or get out of the binding. They are the ideal companion for demanding winter hikes, where minimum weight and maximum performance are required. Whether at the top or at any time during the ascent, you simply put on the shorts and they warm you up in an instant. They are an ideal companion during cold windy days, when you often wear them while climbing to the top. Thanks to the surface material DRILITE® Loft, you can also use them as an outer layer. They are wind and water resistant, so you don't have to worry about wet snow or drizzle. You can also use them great as an insulation layer under a hardshell.
