Waterproof membrane DERMIZAX® NX

DERMIZAX® NX is a non-porous membrane manufactured by the Japanese company Torey. Ease of maintenance, long service life are the main reasons why you should be interested in this membrane . Despite its low weight, it has excellent breathability and water resistance. Taped seams offer maximum water resistance and the entire jacket has a water-repellent DWR treatment.

DERMIZAX® NX is a 100% windproof membrane.
It is waterproof - water column 20,000 mm, breathability 32,000 g/m ² /24h.
It is durable, elastic in all directions and has taped seams.

Premium materials and freedom of movement

Men's pants ORTOVOX 3L ORTLER PANTS are made of stretchy three-layer membrane, have an excellent cut and shaped knees.

Lightweight and packable waterproof trousers

The pants weigh only 430 g, despite the fact that they have a three-layer lamination and are very durable. In addition, the pants are extremely packable and do not take up much space in the backpack.

Size adjustment and CORDURA® reinforcement

At the waist, you can pull the pants down with Velcro, and there are also straps for suspenders. Nothing will push you even in combination with a seat belt. You fasten the belt with a metal stud. The trousers have integrated sleeves against snow and around the ankle and on the inside of the calves are reinforced with a durable material with CORDURA® fiber.

Inner circumferential belt made of fine wool

The pants are equipped with MERINO MESH material with combed wool, which is very pleasant to the touch, in the waist around the entire inner circumference. MERINO MESH wicks away sweat and is comfortable even after getting wet. Wool absorbs moisture into its core and is dry on the surface. Sweat dripping from the back is absorbed into the waist and does not flow down to the pants.

Finder pocket

On the right leg, there is a 3D pocket adapted in shape for an avalanche finder, which you can secure with the help of an integrated plastic carabiner. The waterproof zipper copies the pants of the harness, so it won't squeeze you and you can get into the pocket even through the harness.

Loose trousers

You can unzip the ORTOVOX 3L ORTLER PANTS with a ¾ two-way zipper. You can unfasten them both from the bottom and from the top, or just create a ventilation hole. You can secure the bottom of unbuttoned trousers with a metal stud. In addition, the zippers have locks and do not unzip on their own.

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims. Except for safety systems and finders, they also offer apparel, backpacks, shovels, probes, and other freeride and alpine equipment.
