By using a robust GORE-TEX® 75 D membrane, you get very durable pants with perfect protection against weather influences. The MAKALU PANT is not just a backup pant if the weather fails. These are full-fledged hardshell pants for all-day wear. They have unzipped pants up to ¾ length and an adjustable waist.
GORE-TEX® construction
We wanted to develop durable mountain pants that would not only serve as a backup piece of clothing for rainy weather. MAKALU PANT are very powerful and practical hardshell pants. They are entirely made of durable membrane GORE-TEX® PRE finesse 75 D.
The most perfect seams
Little things make a big difference. The seams of selected Mountain Equipment hard shell pants, including the MAKALU PANT, are sewn using smooth seams. You won't see any threads from the outside. Clothes sewn in this way last much longer, because the seam threads do not rub against rock and other materials. Even this sophisticated method of production is a guarantee of a long service life for you and that we really pay attention to the quality and refinement of our products.
Open pants up to ¾ length of the pants
The side zippers of the renowned YKK® brand, model WR, enable easy wearing of trousers even over large shoes. They are up to ¾ of the length of the trousers, so wearing them over heels or big shoes is not a problem.
