Mountain Equipment Liskamm trousers, Regular, Majolica/Black
They are fully windproof softshell pants with Gore-Tex® Infinium technology for high weather resistance and flexibility for increased performance on mountain adventures. Liskamm pants are durable and wear-resistant with Kevlar® composite reinforcement panels in critical areas for added support in the toughest terrains.
What are they made of?
Made from a special Gore-Tex® Infinium X-Fast 230 softshell and Black Kevlar® composite reinforcements, these pants are incredibly durable to withstand abrasion on even the roughest surfaces.
Gore-Tex® Infinium - This Gore-Tex® technology features an integrated membrane that blocks wind to improve warmth and retain warmth. Gore-Tex® Infinium also has moisture wicking properties, creating a permeable layer for sweat to escape through the membrane and away. Moisture-wicking fabrics have a significant advantage in balancing the body's microclimate. They help regulate the temperature and prevent the loss of radiant heat.
Kevlar® - Providing a balance between form and function, Kevlar® is an extremely strong yet lightweight material that resists corrosion and heat. It's an incredibly durable fabric and is ideal for serious outdoor wear.
What are their characteristics?
In addition to their durable and extremely durable fabric, the Liskamm pants have a number of technical details to help you perform at your best and feel comfortable during outdoor activities.
There are two practical hand pockets on the front sides, ideal for storing light snacks, a compass or a GPS. They are secured with a zip pocket for safe storage. There are also two zipped thigh pockets for extra carrying space, along with two thigh sweat vents near the top.
Thigh vents are really useful in variable conditions, helping to regulate the body's microclimate and providing extra airflow during high-intensity activity as body temperature rises.
The integrated belt helps you achieve a comfortable fit around your waist, secured by a snap fastener belt closure that fastens and easily closes.
The ankle zips and internal gusset panel are located at the bottom of the design, making storing the sturdy mountain boots much easier. It has an adjustable hem with hidden lace hooks that allow the wearer to customize the fit of the pants while also helping to seal out inclement weather.
