QUIVER JACKET is a hardshell jacket designed directly for ski touring and ski mountaineering. It is made of a three-layer GORE-TEX® Pro 30 D membrane and has a hood compatible with a ski helmet. It is very light, yet sufficiently durable. It has excellent ventilation of water vapor, an inner pocket and a removable belt against snow.

The QUIVER JACKET is completely waterproof. It is a GORE-TEX® Pro membrane of the porous type. One such pore is twenty thousand times smaller than a water molecule and therefore only allows water vapor molecules to pass through. So the moisture from the sweat gets out, but the water drops don't penetrate inside. Thanks to this, the membrane is highly breathable and waterproof at the same time.

A hood compatible with a ski helmet is a matter of course
There are situations when it is impossible to do without a hood. Especially when it's windy or raining or there's a snowstorm. The QUIVER JACKET hardshell jacket has a hood type Super Alpine HC Ski Hood, which is compatible with a ski helmet. It is equipped with a reinforced visor and the hood can be adjusted so that it fits perfectly even without a helmet. The drawstrings of the hood are sewn into the channels so that they don't bother you in the wind.

The most perfect seams
Small details make a big difference. Mountain Equipment hardshell jackets are sewn using smooth seams. You won't see any threads on the outside of the jacket. A jacket sewn in this way will last much longer, because the seam threads do not rub against the backpack, rock and other objects. Thanks to this, the absorption of moisture into the seam threads is also prevented, making the jacket even more resistant to getting wet. In addition, all seams are taped with waterproof tapes.

The perfect shape of the sleeves from the shoulder to the wrist
Note that the upper part of the sleeve of the QUIVER JACKET is made of one piece, the seams are thus shifted to the elbow. It is supplemented only with small inserts that give it a perfect shape for active movement. In most jackets, you will find shoulder seams in places that are often overloaded with backpack straps. Mountain Equipment eliminated this problem and perfected the anatomical shape and functionality of the sleeves. Waterproof YKK® zippers
The QUIVER JACKET is fastened with a two-way YKK® Aquaguard® zipper. This is the highest model range of this renowned zipper manufacturer. Two pockets and underarm ventilation are equipped with YKK® WR zippers. Despite the fact that these are waterproof zippers, make sure that you don't keep things in your pockets that can't stand moisture in heavy rain. For example, a mobile phone. The all-over zip of the jacket is two-way and there is a patent lock at the bottom. If you put on the jacket all the way to the stand and don't want to put it under the harness, then unbutton the lower part of the jacket and fasten it with a zipper under the fastener.
