With only 188 g, the stretch insulating vest PIZ DUAN VEST will not restrict you in any movement and your performance in the mountains will take on a new dimension. Thanks to its high breathability, it is suitable for long-term active load when you need to stay dry and warm. Swiss wool SWISSWOOL® is used in the jacket as an insulating layer, thanks to which it has excellent thermoregulatory properties.
SWISSWOOL ® natural insulation material that keeps you warm even when wet
SWISSWOOL® is the most comfortable insulation, and that's why the ORTOVOX SWISSWOOL PIZ VEST uses exactly this type with an area weight of 70 g/m 2. It is ideal for active movement, because wool absorbs up to 35% of moisture into its core, so you feel dry even during high physical activity. In addition, compared to synthetic insulation material , it does not age and retains its properties for many years. SWISSWOOL® insulation is made of strips in individual panels that hold in place and do not shift.

Minimalism of sports performance
The ORTOVOX SWISSWOOL PIZ DUAN VEST jacket is designed for large and demanding performances in the mountains. The advantage of this vest is the SWISSWOOL® insulation layer (70 g/m 2 ), which counts on your high performance as well as the wind-resistant material. Everything else is subordinated to sports performance and minimalism here.
Shaped hood
The hood has an elastic cuff around the face and you still have a great field of vision when you move your head. Since the hood has a minimum of seams, you can also put a helmet over it without being pressed by the seams. The high collar is also nice, which will provide you with enough protection in bad conditions.
Large chest pocket
On the left side of the chest, there is a pocket large enough to fit, for example, gloves. The pocket is raised so that it does not interfere with the waist belt of the backpack. In the same way, you can pack the entire vest in the pocket and place it on the seat using the strap.

If you discover a manufacturing defect, whether it's a fraying seam, external fraying or a non-functioning zipper, just send the product to us and we'll take care of its repair, replacement, or refund.
