Functionality and reliability are what every female climber needs during demanding alpine ascents, and the WESTALPEN SOFTSHELL jacket fulfills this, down to the last detail. Thanks to the combination of MERINO NATURTEC RIPS, NATURTEC LIGHT and wool materials, it provides maximum resistance, breathability, functionality and comfort. It's a jacket you can rely on during challenging expeditions to high mountains.

Product features

Jacket has two large pockets for a map and other necessary things. Pockets are located higher, so you can get into them through the backpack waist belt or the seat harness. The inside of pockets is made of mesh, and they also serve as vents.
High collar for face protection even when looking up. Pleasant to touch MERINO MESH material on the inside of the collar (chin). MERINO MESH absorbs breath moisture and is comfortable even when wet.
Waist and hood compatible with the climbing helmet can be adjusted with integrated laces. They are hidden in the tunnels, so they won't bother you in the wind.
Ergonomically shaped sleeves can be pulled down using Velcro cuffs
Main zipper of the jacket is two-way, which you will appreciate when working with the cleaner

Softshell jackets from ORTOVOX

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims. Except for safety systems and finders, they also offer apparel, backpacks, shovels, probes, and other freeride and alpine equipment.
