You can use the Patagonia Down Sweater Vest for almost any activity, whether it's mountain hiking, alpine skiing, or everyday wear in a snowy city. The vest is made of durable NetPlus® material, which is made of 100% recycled nylon. It comes from recycled fishing nets that pollute the oceans. This windproof material also boasts a Ripstop treatment, which contributes to greater tear strength, and a DWR water-repellent treatment. With this material, you don't have to worry about the vest tearing upon first contact with a rock. If it does happen, don't despair, the package includes patches that you can use to quickly and easily repair the vest.Maximum thermal comfort is ensured by the down filling with a fill power of 800 cuin and RDS certification. A detachable hood with a high collar, elastic cuffs and an adjustable hem also contribute to warmth, helping to reduce heat loss. You can store your belongings in two warm hand pockets or internal zippered chest pockets, which also serve as a bag into which the entire jacket can be folded. It can also boast Fair Trade Certified™ certification, which ensures fair conditions and evaluation.
