Ortovox Westalpen Swisswool jacket

Functional women's insulating jacket WESTALPEN SWISSWOOL with insulation from Swiss wool SWISSWOOL® (90 g/m2 on the body, 60 g/m2 on the sleeves and hood), insulates heat even when wet and has excellent thermoregulatory properties. The outer material, Pertex® Quantum, which is resistant to water and wind, also prevents heat loss. The cut of the jacket with extended back and sleeves is specifically designed for high comfort when climbing.

Two roomy pockets placed higher so they can be accessed even with the backpack waist belt on and one internal breast pocket for valuables
Higher collar, elastic sleeve ends and drawstring at the waist also contribute to the increase in thermal comfort
Jacket has extended sleeves and torso, so it won't ride up even when climbing difficult mixed routes
Pertex® Quantum material is a densely woven recycled polyamide material that does not let wind through and is highly breathable at the same time
All zippers come from YKK®

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims. Except for safety systems and finders, they also offer apparel, backpacks, shovels, probes, and other freeride and alpine equipment.
