By combining two materials GORE-TEX ® 50D and GORE-TEX ® 75D Mountain Equipment created a jacket that is very light and at the same time very durable for all-day wear in demanding mountain conditions even with a heavy backpack on your back. With the Alpine Fit cut, you will have no problem layering your clothes sufficiently in cold weather. In addition, it is made of recycled material, so it is environmentally friendly.

The goal was to create a light but at the same time very durable jacket for the mountains, which will not only serve as a backup piece of clothing for rainy weather. MAKALU WOMEN'S JACKET is a very durable and practical hardshell jacket. Parts in the area of the shoulders and the hood are made of a durable GORE-TEX ® membrane with a thickness of 75 D, which is a guarantee of long life. Despite the fact that the jacket looks very soft, you don't have to be afraid to use it in difficult conditions.
By buying this jacket, you will not only get reliable protection in any weather, but you will also contribute to the protection of the environment. Most of the jacket is made of 100% recycled GORE-TEX ® 50D material, which makes it reliably waterproof and environmentally friendly.
There are situations when it is impossible to do without a hood. Especially when it's windy or raining. The MAKALU WOMEN'S JACKET hardshell jacket has a Mountain HC Hood type hood, which is compatible with a climbing helmet. It is equipped with a reinforced visor and the hood can be adjusted so that it fits perfectly even without a helmet. The drawstrings of the hood are sewn into the channels so that they don't bother you in the wind.
You will also appreciate two large hand pockets and one breast pocket with waterproof YKK ® zippers, which can easily fit gloves, a camera, a pencil or anything you want to have immediately at hand.
Small details make a big difference. Mountain Equipment hardshell jackets are sewn using smooth seams. You won't see any threads on the outside of the jacket. A jacket sewn in this way lasts much longer, because the seam threads do not rub against backpacks, rocks and other objects. Thanks to this, the absorption of moisture into the seam threads is also prevented, making the jacket even more resistant to getting wet. In addition, all seams are taped with waterproof tapes.
MAKALU WOMEN'S JACKET is fastened with a two-way YKK ® Aquaguard ® zipper. This is the highest model range of this renowned zipper manufacturer. Two pockets and underarm ventilation are equipped with YKK ® WR zippers. Despite the fact that these are waterproof zippers, make sure that you don't leave things in your pockets that can't stand moisture in heavy rain. For example, a mobile phone.
