Down parkas Mountain Equipment LIGHTLINE ECO WOMEN'S PARKA is designed with a lower impact on the environment. It is the world standard for sustainable, warm and technical down parks. With a great removable hood, long cut and water-resistant outer fabric, this is a really excellent and practical down parka.

  • Outer water-resistant material DRILITE ® Loft 50 D enabling high loft feathers for maximum thermal comfort, treated with water-repellent PFC free DWR treatment.
  • Higher tear resistance.
  • 296 g (M) 100% recycled feathers with a filling of 700 cuin.
  • Classic quilted chambers.
  • Each chamber is individually filled with feathers with a precisely defined amount of feathers for optimal insulation.
  • Extended cut - parka, for even more warmth and protection.
  • High-quality YKK ® two-way zipper with an internal leg that prevents heat from escaping.
  • Detachable hood with full adjustment and high collar.

  • Elastic sleeve hem with velcro fastening.
  • Adjustable bottom hem of the parka with drawstrings. Separate cord for pulling the front and back parts, so that there is no danger of getting caught in the carabiner when you attach it to the material eye of the seat harness.

Removable hood

The fully adjustable and removable hood with a zip has a visor and is sewn from three panels for the best possible fit. On the inside, there is a waterproof DRILITE® Loft surface material. The feathers stay dry even if snow falls into your hood. The drawstrings of the hood are sewn into the channels so that they don't bother you in the wind.

DRILITE ® Loft 50 D – resistant to water and wind

DRILITE ® Loft 50D is a strong and light waterproof surface material with a PU coating. It is highly breathable and resistant to water and wind. It also has a water-repellent DWR treatment on the surface without the addition of PFC, which further contributes to keeping the feathers dry even in wet conditions. The feathers are thus protected from getting wet and thus also from losing their heat-insulating properties. Thanks to its water resistance and low weight, the feathers maintain a high loft for maximum thermal insulation in any conditions.

DOWN CYCLE ® - feather recycling cycle

DOWN CYCLE ® is Mountain Equipment's commitment to contributing to sustainable production. The improvement of sustainable production started in 2017 with the Earthrise line, where 100% post-consumer recycled feathers were introduced for the first time. That's when the idea of ​​creating a functioning closed chain for recycling was born. This means that down clothing or sleeping bags that are unwanted or at the end of their life cycle will not just be thrown away, but the feathers will be used to make new products.

DOWN CODEX ® – a symbol of an ethical approach to animal husbandry

DOWN CODEX ® is a control of the origin of feathers, its quality, ethical and ecological approach to animal husbandry. Every year, the farms from which Mountain Equipment buys feathers are inspected by the independent Swiss organization IDFL to meet the highest quality parameters. This guarantees a high quality of living conditions for the animals and thus also the quality of the feathers. One does not work without the other.
  • Each product with feathers has a unique code, under which you can find the origin of the feathers and its parameters.
  • A comprehensive and transparent system for auditing the origin of feathers, from all brands and anywhere in the world.
  • In Mountain Equipment products , feathers are always just a by-product of meat or egg farming.

Two pockets, removable and fully adjustable hood, two-way zip and durable outer fabric. These are all elements that you need in sport climbing.

Two-year guarantee without compromise

You must always rely on the equipment. So if something is wrong, you have an uncompromising two-year warranty. If you discover a manufacturing defect, send the goods to us and we will hand them over directly to the service center in Munich, which will take care of the rest.

If you damage the device, the service center in Munich will repair it. Just send it to us and we will take care of everything.
