DIREKT GLOVE gloves are made of double-woven EXOLITE® softshell material. It is stretchy and, together with the goat leather, creates a very durable protection for your hands in harsh winter conditions. DIREKT GLOVE gloves dry quickly, which you will appreciate on several-day expeditions where you do not have the opportunity to dry them on the stove of a mountain hut.
Perfect ice ax grip
DIREKT GLOVE gloves are an excellent choice for climbers looking for moderately warm gloves for stable climbing conditions. DIREKT GLOVES are tailored according to the Climbing Fit, so they are perfect for sensitive work with carabiners and rope. They have pre-shaped fingers for a perfect grip on the ice ax and specially treated Pittards® Oiltac® leather in places where it is necessary that the gloves do not slide off the ice ax, but instead create maximum friction.- The top is a very robust and stretchy EXOLITE softshell with an area weight of 210 g/m2.
- Pittards® Amortan® goat leather is used on the stressed areas of the palm and the opposite side of the glove for the highest abrasion resistance.
- Pittards® Oiltac® leather on palm and fingers to increase friction between ice ax and glove.
- Climbing fit for a great grip on ice axes and work with climbing material.
- On the opposite side of the hand is a fleece lining with a high loft, which also serves as insulation for maximum insulation with minimum weight.
- The palm is lined with Micro Fleece material for maximum comfort and sensitivity.
- Soft skin on the thumb for wiping the nose without skin irritation.
