Lysine is an essential amino acid that the human body cannot produce on its own. Lysine is considered an important amino acid because it is only found in very small amounts in cereals and grains. Lysine deficiency limits our ability to utilize other amino acids. It functions as an irreplaceable building block of all proteins. This amino acid has the ability to act against colds, herpes and herpes viruses. Lysine supports the formation of hormones and enzymes and, in combination with vitamin C, increases tissue regeneration. Lysine helps in the absorption of calcium, which is necessary for bone growth and development. As it supports the building of muscle proteins, it has a beneficial effect during recovery after operations or sports injuries.

Use and dosage: The recommended daily dose is 1g. L-Lysine should be taken with Arginine.
