Petzl ASTRO EU work harness, black/gray

The ASTRO full body harness is designed for rope access workers. Its construction is specific for climbing and working from ropes. 3D foam padding and semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide comfort when suspended throughout the workday. The detachable ventral attachment point allows for efficient installation of rope-moving equipment. The integrated CROLL L ventral rope clamp improves efficiency when climbing ropes. The waistbelt is equipped with metal side attachment points, equipment loops, and slots for tool holders, allowing for the organization and carrying of all necessary equipment throughout the day. DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles and FAST quick-connect buckles make donning and adjusting the harness easier and faster, even with gloves.

Ultra-comfortable construction:

• Thin sliding straps provide greater freedom of movement and ease of movement
• All contact zones, including shoulder straps, waistbelt, and leg loops, are padded with 3D foam and lined with breathable material for greater comfort when suspended
• The semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide optimal positioning and support when suspended
• Metal side attachment points can be folded down to prevent accidental snagging when not in use
• Elastic connectors on the leg loops and waistbelt (replaceable and available as accessories) allow the harness to maintain its correct adjustment while walking and suspended
• Aluminum ring on the back of the waistbelt for attaching a chest harness

Efficient equipment integration with the detachable ventral attachment point:

• The CROLL L ventral rope clamp is attached directly to the ventral attachment point for greater efficiency and freedom of movement when climbing ropes
• The PODIUM or LITEPOD work seat can be attached directly to the attachment point pin, so the load is directed directly to the descender and the user has great freedom of movement at the attachment point

Comfortable adjustment system:

• The shoulder straps have a FAST quick-connect buckle on the left side for easy donning and doffing, and a DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckle on the right side for easy adjustment that stays in place
• The waistbelt is equipped with DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles and can be fitted with anti-slip clips (included, but not installed)
• The DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles are made of anodized aluminum and are easy to handle throughout the harness's lifespan
• The leg loops are equipped with FAST quick-connect buckles that are easy and quick to fasten and unfasten, even with gloves

Easy attachment and organization of equipment:

• The shoulder straps have a Velcro strap that can be moved up or down and positioned on the left or right side to attach an ASAP'SORBER fall arrester
• Fall arrester lanyard holders (available as accessories) can be installed on the shoulder straps
• The waistbelt is equipped with two foldable side attachment points for attaching a positioning lanyard in double mode
• Seven shaped equipment loops with protective covers, two CARITOOL tool holder slots, and an INTERFAST attachment system, two TOOLBAG holsters
