Petzl ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester with locking function

The Petzl ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester with locking function is designed to facilitate handling during rope ascents. During normal use, the device moves freely on the rope without any need for manipulation and follows the user in all their movements. In the event of a shock load or sudden acceleration, the fall arrester locks onto the rope and stops the user. The integrated locking function allows the device to be locked on the rope to reduce the potential fall distance. Thanks to the connecting arm, the system is fall-resistant when moving between anchor points. The ASAP LOCK is used with an ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS fall arrester to work at a greater distance from the rope.

Constant fall protection:

• Catches falls, slips, and uncontrolled descents
• Works on a vertical or inclined rope
• Locks on the rope even if the worker tries to grab the rope during a fall
• The integrated locking function allows the device to be locked anywhere on the rope to reduce the potential fall distance. In case of strong wind, this function also prevents the rope from being pulled out
