COMPETITION line of functional underwear
With ORTOVOX COMPETITION underwear, the structure and surface weight of the knit is adapted for each part of our body so that the underwear wicks away sweat as best as possible or, on the contrary, warms. Jedná sa o tzv. "body mapping" created during seamless knitting and in different body zones we achieve different microclimates. These zones allow maximum breathability in the places where it is most needed.The result is also high elasticity of the clothing and a high proportion of very fine wool, which will give you extra comfort when wearing it, whether during extremely demanding sports performance or in the warmth of a fireplace in a mountain hut.
- Different weaves and knit thicknesses for individual zones of the human body.
- Fine flat seams can only be found in the place where the sleeve connects to the body. The rest of the underwear is knitted using seamless technology.
- 70% Merino wool with a fineness of 16.5 microns is a guarantee of first-class quality and perfect functional properties that we need in sports - quick drying, elimination of odor.
The highest quality Merino wool
You will feel the 100% Tasmanian Merino wool lining on your skin, a material that does not age and retains its functional properties for many years. The length of all fibers is at least 6 cm for all ORTOVOX products, which is not a standard in the world. The longer the fibers, the stronger the yarn and no loose stitches (holes). In order for the wool to meet the demanding criteria, ORTOVOX buys wool from six farms that undergo regular checks to ensure they meet all 64 quality criteria.- wool is very comfortable

Tasmanian Island
Tasmania is an island in the south of Australia, only 2,500 km from Antarctica. The climate is cool with abundant rainfall and nutritious pasture for sheep. The island is strictly guarded against sheep diseases. Thanks to this, Tasmania is the most suitable location for breeding Merino sheep on Earth and the best quality wool in the world has been produced here for more than 150 years.
