Thanks to the number of ventilation holes, the helmet offers excellent ventilation comparable to road helmets. A removable visor ensures a sporty look.
The MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) technology consists of three main parts. EPS polystyrene shells, sliding inserts of MIPS and elastomers that connect the first two parts. In the event of an angled impact, the elastomers stretch, allowing slight movement of the helmet shell against the MIPS sliding insert, absorbing rotational forces. This is a movement of the order of millimeters. But even those few millimeters, during those critical 2 milliseconds, can significantly reduce the amount of rotational forces that would otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
