The XR Spherical model kind of breaks the conventional ideas of what a racing road helmet looks like. Extended neck protection says something about the terrain... Sure, the XR Spherical has overhang from road to gravel and XC MTB. If you want to disappear from the road to the trail around the next bend, you can - the XR is a real all-rounder!Spherical Technology Powered by MIPS. This technology is based on the principle of the joint. The shell consists of two parts (hemispheres) inserted into each other and connected using yellow elastomers. The whole system creates a kind of cushioning that absorbs forces in the event of an impact - the hemispheres can move relative to each other and the elastomers absorb the energy. In addition, the outer shell is made of harder material, the inner one is made of softer material (Progressive Layering technology).
