IN-MOLD technology, means a procedure in which the mass of the inner shell is foamed into the outer shell of the helmet under high pressure and high temperature. The result is a complete connection and an extremely stable helmet structure at low weight. Safety under mechanical influences, e.g. when hitting a pointed object, it is therefore significantly higher for IN-MOLD helmets than for spot-glued helmets.
