MIPS technology available in selected colors. MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) provides increased protection against rotational forces on the head.
MIPS IS MOVEMENT
Progress in the development of bicycle helmets. All Giro helmets are designed to absorb as much energy as possible in the event of an impact and meet the applicable European standard: EN 1077. The aim of the new MIPS technology is to eliminate rotational forces acting on the head in the event of a fall and subsequent impact on the piste. When impacted at any angle, the MIPS system allows the EPS shell of the helmet to rotate independently around the head.
