Failure to observe safety guidelines may result in an accident resulting in serious injury or death. Cardo recommends taking all necessary precautions and remaining alert to traffic, weather and all road conditions. Do not perform pairing, linking or any complicated operations while riding.
All publications are intended to describe technical capabilities and are not to be construed as an encouragement to operate Cardo Products in any manner that is dangerous or prohibited by law.
Use this Product with the utmost caution and obey all applicable traffic laws. Always ride safely and do not allow yourself to be distracted by the device while riding. Do not use the Product if doing so becomes unsafe.
The use of mobile communication systems may be prohibited or restricted in some regions or states. Check all local, state and federal laws and regulations (the “Laws”) in your region before using the Product and be mindful that compliance with the Laws is the user’s sole responsibility.
Use the Product while in motion only where and in the manner permitted by applicable law. No part of the body should touch the antenna during device operation. Use the Product only in safe environments and avoid using it at gas stations, fuel depots, or near explosives. Use the Product with hearing aids and medical devices only after consulting a physician or specialist. Make sure the Product is installed and mounted in a stable manner.

Health warnings
Hearing Damage: Listening to audio at excessive volumes can distort sound and increase the risk of damage or hearing loss.
Hearing Loss: Audio devices can cause hearing loss. Be careful and avoid prolonged exposure at high volume levels, which can damage or cause hearing loss. Permanent hearing loss may occur if the Product is used at high volume for extended periods.
RF signals: Most electronic equipment is shielded from RF signals, however, some equipment may not be shielded against the RF signals from the wireless device adequately.
Pacemakers: The Health Industry Manufacturers Association recommends that a minimum separation of about 6 inches (16 cm) be maintained between a mobile or wireless device and a pacemaker to avoid potential interference with the pacemaker. Make sure not to interfere with the function of personal medical devices.
Hearing Aids: Some devices may interfere with certain hearing aids. In the event of such interference, you should consult your hearing aid manufacturer to discuss alternatives.
Other Medical Devices: If you use any other personal medical device, consult the manufacturer of your device and/or your physician to determine if it is adequately shielded from external RF energy. Your physician may be able to assist you in obtaining this information.

Battery safety
1. Replacement of a battery with an incorrect type that can defeat a safeguard.
2. Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, that can result in an explosion.
3. Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
4. A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure that may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
Notwithstanding the above, it is hereby clarified that
(i) the Product is designed to be used in environments where it will be regularly exposed to water (e.g., rain, snow, or splashing water); and
(ii) for safety and reliability reasons, the batteries are not removable or replaceable.

Skin Irritation
• A small number of people may experience reactions to certain materials. Prolonged contact with specific environments, soap, sweat, sunscreen, lotions, or other substances may result in allergic reactions.
• To reduce the risk of skin irritation, avoid wearing the Product on areas with broken skin.
• If you experience any redness, swelling, itchiness, or other irritation, please discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.

Unsafe Driving
• Using this Product while driving or cycling may be against the law in some countries or regions. Check and obey the traffic laws and regulations in your area, and consult with local authorities if necessary.

Electromagnetic Interference
• Do not use this Product in areas where wireless devices are prohibited (e.g., airports or some healthcare facilities), as it may interfere with other electronic devices or cause hazards.
• Some electronic devices may malfunction due to radio interference caused by this Product (e.g., some automotive systems). Contact the manufacturer of the relevant device for more information.
• Radio waves generated by this Product may affect the normal operation of some medical devices, such as pacemakers, defibrillators, cochlear implants, hearing aids, etc. If you use any of these devices, consult your doctor and the device manufacturer about the restrictions on the use of this Product, and maintain a safe distance from medical devices. If you suspect interference, stop using the Product immediately.
