Magene L508 rear light with radar

The SEEMEE 508 radar rear light is the result of long-term research and development of top scientific and technological products and intelligent solutions. The device receives impulse signals of millimetre waves and has a 40° radiation angle, which is able to recognize vehicles up to 140 m away, even in curves. It offers an intelligent vibration sensor and sufficient brightness for day and night driving. SEEMEE 508 has a wide 220° viewing angle with visibility of up to 1.2 km and an effective warning of approaching vehicles, which guarantees safe driving.

Through the standard ANT+ radar protocol, SEEMEE 508 can be connected to cycle computers, watches, or other display devices. The device provides visual and audio warnings using a display on the rear of approaching vehicles up to a distance of 140 meters, helping riders to remain fully alert. If the vehicle approaches within 140 m, the rear light will switch to flashing mode, alerting the approaching vehicle to keep a safe distance and thus protect the cyclist from safety risks.

SEEMEE 508 is also equipped with a built-in, high-precision accelerator, which recognizes braking quickly enough and identifies even slight braking with a 3-second flash, while ignoring shocks and small bumps to avoid false activation. The light will go into sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity and will automatically activate upon any re-vibrations.

Controlling the SEEMEE 508 is very simple. A long press of the switch turns the rear light on and off, and a short press allows you to switch between 6 modes:
  • still light
  • flashing
  • pulsation
  • peloton
  • rotation
  • radar only
Using the MAGENE Utility APP, it is possible to preset the radar on/off in any lighting mode, for your preferred setting. Customization of the flashing/pulse interval is also possible. With a quarter-turn mount, the SEEMEE 508 can be attached or detached with a simple turn. The integrated rubber pad is compatible with both round and D-shaped aero seatposts. The safety cord prevents damage by accidental disconnection. The light is powered by a rechargeable battery with a lifespan of up to 16 hours and a popular USB-C charging port with a fast charging function. The light is fully charged in approximately 3 hours. Precise processing and quality materials make the SEEMEE 508 an ideal companion for safely tackling road adventures. The light is IPX7 waterproof, which makes it suitable for all weather conditions.
