The light is really excellent. I considered its purchase for a long time (because of the price, of course), looked at reviews, compared with others, and for me, this light is really a work of art for the discerning. I'm a bit of a tinkerer and so far I've been driving with "home made" ones, which did shine well, but compared to this, they're children's toys. I've owned it for 14 days and it's already had a lot of exits and exits in the dark, wandering through the night forest, wandering on night roads. 5 modes controlled by a button on the light:

50 lumens = I can be seen on the road, in total darkness through the forest basic lighting can be seen in front of me,

200 lumens = I am seen clearly and distinctly on the road, in complete darkness through the forest it provides good vision even in front of you, more from the surroundings,

600 lumens = I am seen clearly and distinctly on the road (there is a risk of blinding the oncoming drivers if you have the angle set incorrectly). On the road, you can already see well in front of you, in the forest, in complete darkness, it provides superior forward vision and for a wide cone and surroundings, a suitable mode even for some not very fast descents.

1500 lumens = really strong lighting of the entire road in front of you, the surroundings, thanks to the wide cone. With such a strong mode, I would not recommend using it on roads with traffic, as there is a risk of blinding in front of moving vehicles (bending of the light cone that the light has, although it has light, but with such a strong mode, it is necessary to lower it even more in traffic, and I have not yet found a suitable angle). You can see really well in the forest. You literally turn night into day - both in distance and width. I had a bit of tearing in my peripheral vision due to flickering tree shadows etc. at a higher speed. Suitable for a quick descent.

50/600 lumens = flashing between 50 and 600 lumens is triggered by double-clicking the button on the light and is mainly suitable for traveling, to increase your visibility (personally, I didn't like it very much when I left it on for a long time, it's like changing the light and dark, because 600 lumens already illuminates the road well, while 50 lumens is almost dark).

Modes controlled on the remote control:
- button 2200 lumens = maximum mode available only by pressing the button on the remote control - it properly illuminates everything that is in front of the light (for a maximum of 30 seconds), on the road you will definitely blind the oncoming vehicle, in a dark forest it is like turning on the main beam of a car . In fact, I see usability only as a long-distance exposure. Personally, I didn't register any big difference between 1500 and 2200 lumens in the usability of normal cycling. If you are going downhill, by the time you feel the button and press it, the section is already long behind you. In addition, there are two buttons on the remote (1-MODE, 2-2200 lumens), so I managed to press the second button => when I had 1500 lumens on and pressed the MODE button instead of the 2200 lumens button, I switched the light to 50 lumens = he almost didn't see anything - quite crazy when you fly along a forest road and suddenly you "turn off" your light to 50 lumens instead of 2200 lumens,
- MODE button - change modes always to a stronger one.

What I would criticize the light for is:
- it is possible to change the modes in only one direction, from weaker to stronger, so I click through all the modes to the weaker mode, e.g. I have 1500lm and I want it on the neighboring 600lm, I click 3 times to get there (50-200-600lm),
- you can't turn on the 50/600 lumen flashing on the light remote control (maybe that's how it's supposed to be? I don't know..),
- the two buttons on the remote control could be better distinguished somehow - maybe by a protrusion, etc...,
- the remote control does not hold very well and it turns on my handlebars by pressing the buttons, even though it is rubberized - the button and the strap from below.
- there is no instruction, scale, procedure on how to set the lamp so that I use its maximum possible illumination, but at the same time do not blind oncoming vehicles.

If I had to buy any bike light, I would buy the same one again.
Its advantages, the quality of material processing, robustness, the ability to change batteries and super optics far exceed its tiny flies. Take it as I'm more of a critic and rarely satisfied, but overall I rate the light as excellent with five stars.

.. after much thought (price) I decided to invest in a quality light and the shorter days also contributed to this decision. I ride my road fitness bike mostly on cycle paths, but traffic on the roads cannot be avoided. Quite often I have found myself in a situation where an oncoming car with high beams has you "on the hook", but you are just a cyclist and the fact that you can't see anything is your problem. And I started to explore the possibilities of having the opportunity to make it clear that I can't see anything. After studying the available reviews, I decided on Fenix, I am not a supporter of cheap Chinese miracle lights for bikes. And the first experiences are great. When riding in the city, the first level of 50 lm is enough to be seen. For moving between villages, the second level of 200 lm is enough. When riding on paved cycle paths in complete darkness, the third level of 600 lm is more than enough, since this is not an adrenaline-fueled descent in the forest. But everything is great to see from a sufficient distance. I don't use the last most powerful level, it is not necessary for this type of riding on a road bike. But what I like most is the ability to use the highest mode that can only be used with the remote control. Since then, I have no problem with reckless drivers, who always find one during several hours of night riding. A few seconds of flashing is enough and they immediately lower the high beams. This makes night riding in traffic, which is not always avoidable, safer and more enjoyable. I don't use the pulse mode, it is quite unpleasant to alternate between low and high power, but it is not necessary to use it. In conclusion, it is exactly what I expect from a bike light and the price corresponds to it. Also the ability to buy spare batteries for endless all-night rides. For me, six stars, if they could be awarded... I'm adding photos of my installation, I solved the slight twisting of the remote control with a rubber base from an old tube cut out, which I used as a sleeve for the control. Since then, it's been holding like a charm. And of course a little red paint to highlight the Menu and Burst mode buttons... for better orientation.

Excellent light! First of all, I would like to point out that this light does not contain batteries like most, you have to buy them separately, so you have to consider the price increase by €48.
Despite this, the light is in the price category of top lights, where you can find any brand, be it Nitecore BR35 or various Lezyne models, in the range of €130-140.
Of all the ones mentioned, I decided on Fenix ​​for several reasons.

1. The highest performance - constant lighting 1800 lumens, boost 2200 lumens (boost mode option only when controlled from the remote switch)

2. Both LEDs light up at the same time - you don't switch modes between one and the other like with Nitecore

3. Switching modes at any time - with Nitecore, you can mainly switch modes only when the light is turned on, if you want to change the mode while driving, you must turn off the light

4. Accumulators - they are removable and replaceable, in my opinion a big advantage is that the light does not have a built-in accumulator. These accumulators can be charged via micro USB, have their own electronics and are also compatible with the HM65R scope

5.Fixed handlebar holder - a holder that holds the light firmly in place....with such an expensive light and when flying through the trail at night, I prefer the holder to be firmly attached, not just rubber as used by other manufacturers, for example Lezyne

6. Affordable accessories - for €9.90 it is possible to buy another holder for the handlebars or for a little less a holder for the helmet, although at this weight it is not practical for me to carry this light on the helmet, but the possibility is here.

7. Wireless remote control - no cables, no wrapping around the handlebars. You pair the light with the remote switch and it works... very useful if you want to reduce the power so as not to dazzle someone or, conversely, if you want to suddenly shine a light in a dark section or with increased power on higher mode or by activating boost mode.

For me, Top light with excellent performance, excellent afterglow and dispersion and, moreover, very practical for the user. I highly recommend it!

Vskutku výborné svietidlo. Mám aj Fénix 25, aj 30. Upevnenie na kolobežke drží výborne, svetelný tok ideálny. Ak porovnám 25 a 30, mám subjektívny pocit, že 25 zaberá viac do strán, ale zase 30 má k dispozícii viac lúmenov a je to teda poznať. Na bežnú turistiku či pomalé presuny na bicykloch a kolobežkách stačí druhý stupeň svietenia. Tretí je už nadštandard, osvetľujem doslova 100m okolo seba v lese a štvrtý, to je ako mať v lese auto s diaľkovými svetlami. Oceňujem veľmi kompaktné rozmery, takže je výborne použiteľné aj na turistiku ako ručné svietidlo. Veľký rozdiel medzi 25 a 30 je aj v tom, že nakoľko 30 má externý zdroj napájania, vôbec sa na rozdiel od 25ky nezahrieva. Jedinú výtku mám k prepínaču. Ak má byť svietidlo použiteľné ako ručné, buď treba prepínač trochu utopiť, alebo zmeniť spôsob zapínania. Vo vrecku alebo batohu sa mi stalo opakovane, že sa tlakom samovoľne svietidlo zaplo. Vymeniteľné batérie pri 30tke zabezpečujú nekonečný dostatok energie. Pri jednych náhradných batériách vydrží svetlo na celú dovolenku, resp. aj 2-3 týždňovú stanovačku. Najlepšie svietidlo, aké som držal v rukách. Super spokojnosť.

I tested the light on the road and in the forest on a slope. On the road, the second (200 lm) level of intensity was more than enough for me, on the slopes I switched to the third (600). So I still have power reserve. I haven't tried the trails yet, but I don't think 1500 lm will be enough.

I rate the remote control very positively. Despite the fact that I thought it was stupid when I ordered it, now I'm glad that I have it.

Boost is great especially on the road. I use it when I see that a car is approaching from around the corner. I turn on the boost to 1-3, the car switches the main beam to the low beam, so it: a) does not illuminate me b) warns/reduces speed/keeps to the side. It seems to me like a thing that improves the safety of the cyclist. Since we are going to lie in the nice switchbacks on the hill, which is known to the driver, he is used to cutting the corner on the car.

I have never had such a high-quality light, and I also positively evaluate the space that is lit. Surroundings just in front of the cyclist but also in the distance in front of the cyclist. The holder is solid, I'm not afraid that the light will fall out. The light can be easily and quickly dropped from it.

It is a good purchase, although it is more expensive, but I am extremely satisfied.

Pořizoval jsem v krátké době jako druhé světlo (první byl Knogg Blinder 1300) a musím říct, že Fenix je o znatelný kus lepší a odsoudil Blinder do role záložního světla. I když nutno říct, že nejsem zcela náročný, neb používám na silniční kolo

Plusy
+ Výborně svítí, používám na medium (600 lumenů) a je dobře použitelné i na rozbitější silnici
+ Burst mode osvětlí skoro jako ve dne
+ Dobrá výdrž (výrazně lepší než Blinder)
+ Dálkové ovládání (i když zde bojuju s tím, kam ho pohodlně umístit)
+ Vyměnitelné baterie, pokud člověk plánuje obzvlášť dlouhou noční jízdu

Mínusy
- Trochu větší a těžší kousek
- Nelze otočit a namontovat pod Edge do GoPro držáku
- Režimy se cyklují, nelze měnit přímo nahoru/dolu

Kde by se mohli zlepšit
- Dálkáč by mohl mít jen 1 tlačítko pro burst mód. V rukavicích ta 2 splývají
- Podpora Ant+ pro možnost ovládat světla přímo z Di2 pák

After a year of use, maximum satisfaction.
For some road riding, the 200lm (16h) setting is sufficient, 600 (6h) is enough for the forest and 1500 (2h) for some trails. In extreme conditions, it is 2200lm. 50lm is better, let them see you.
I see a huge advantage in using replaceable 18650 batteries (you need a charger if you don't have USB rechargeable batteries), which you can easily carry in your bag as a spare.
The light has a slanted cone, so it's less blinding to oncoming traffic, but I still recommend tilting it 8-10 degrees on the road.
Finally, a 5-year warranty (although I suspect it's somewhat limited), spare parts available... I'm not a fan of the TOP. I still have the HM65R helmet (also for 18650) and I have the lights to give away

Tato vecicka je hodna zlata. Velmi doba vydrz, daleky dosvit aj intenzita. Nesvieti zbytocne hore no aj tak treba byt pripraveny na soferov blikacov.. Svetlo je dost intenzivne, na vyssich stupnoch chladnejsie. Pribalene dialkove ovladanie je skvele, da sa nainstalovat na riadidla aj priamo na prst na ruke cez rukavicu (podla potreby). Clekovo hodnotim tento vyrobok velmi vysoko. Chyba mi uz len celovka z tej istej serie s rovnakou bateriou a uchytmi na prilbu a ani narocnejsie nocne jazdy niesu problem. Rycheljsi jazdci urcite ocenia dostatok svetla aj v noci.

Skvele svetlo ,velke plus je ,ze sa daju menit baterky. Dialkove ovladanie je genialne a super komfortne. Nocna cesta z ruzinova na kolibu asi na druhom mode a potom na najsilnejsom dole trailom ,cesta spat opat asi na druhom/tretom mode a baterku svietila na oranzovo takze aj super vydrz (baterky 2x18650-3500mah). Odporucam pre ludi co chcu nieco viac (traily dole lesom v uplnej tme - lepsia viditelnost pomaly ako cez den)

Podľa komentárov nižšie som možno čakal trochu silnejšie svetlo Ale sklamaný nie som, svetlo je super, tých 600 lumenov mi vo väčšine prípadov bohate stačí na MTB aj cestu. Oceňujem diaľkové ovládanie s režimom boost, len škoda, že na nižšiu intenzitu sa nedá prepínať jedným klikom, ale len troma cez všetky režimy. Svetlo sa chystám otestovať na 24-hodinovke na Nürburgringu, snáď ma nesklame.

Iba vyskúsaná intenzita svietivosti. Musel som dokúpiť dve 18650 4000mah batérie a pre pohodlie a ďalšiu využiteľnosť aj nabíjačku. Kedze uz vlastním dve ďalšie svietidlá Fenix na 18650 batérie, je to pre mna výhoda mat dalsie zdroje.
Je to vynikajúce svietidlo s bezdrôtovým diaľkovým ovládaním, odolne voci narazu v kovom obale, aj voci utopeniu vo vode.
Tomu odpovedá aj vyššia cena.

Trochu veľké, vymýšlam nejaký úchyt pod riaditká (kvôli šošovke sa nedá proste otočiť dolu hlavou), ale taktiež aj veľmi silné. Bezdrôtové ovládanie je veľmi potešujúce, len trochu opatrne keď ho prvý krát otvárate aby ste vložili priloženú baterku, plast je dosť mäkký, a je to poriadne dotiahnuté.
Sila svetla je dostačujúca aj na jazdu v úplnej tme, prípadne aj v mierom teréne.

Extremne svietidlo, na ine by som si asi ani uz nezvykol. Nevyhoda je hmotnost a vyssie vstupne naklady, kedze baterie su nejake specialne o ktorych som predtym netusil a nestoja prave malo + nabijacka tiez. Inak mega dohlad, budete s tym ako krali.

Dobre silné svetlo na cestu, ale stále oslepuje niektorých proti idúcich vodičov aj keď mám nastavený sklon asi 30cm na vzdialenosť 2m. Ale ich viem presvedčiť prebliknutim na max svietivosť.

Svieti perfektne mám tam 3000mah baterku a používam 2stupen svietenia ma to dobrú vydrž a občas použijem 2200luminov na šoférov ktorí nevedia stiahnuť diaľkové .
