Product description

Andromeda Hybrid 9.9 is the first MTB bike with electric drive from Pinarella. The bike takes the best of the long-term knowledge and driving characteristics of Dogma XM and Dogma XC. Andromeda uses a compact electric motor from Shimano STEPS E8000 powered by a 500 Wh Shimano battery for electric drive. Controlling the electric motor is simple and natural. The motor uses the same control levers as Shimano's DI2 MTB systems, including a small color display. The display shows all the necessary data (mode, speed, range and battery status). The engine runs quietly, and the change of modes is smooth with sensitive energy dosing. The entire crank/motor system maintains the same Q factor (crank width) as in classic mountain bikes. Also, the geometry of the frame and the short rear structure is similar to the classic 29 MTB Hardtail. The Pinarello Andromeda eBike is fully usable even with the engine off.

How we ship bikes

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:

The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
6. Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
7. Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

Hardtrail mountain electrobicycles from Pinarello

A classic Italian brand named Pinarello has been around since 1952. Their 15th win on Tour de France was in 2019. Besides road bikes, they also offer MTB, urban, gravel, e-bikes and track bikes. The name of the brand is linked with the professional team INEOS Grenadier. Their rider Filippo Ganna wins on bikes from Pinarello.
