Product description

MTB electric bike OREM with aluminum frame, sporty design, sprung fork, hydraulic brakes and 27.5 plus x 2.6 "wheels.

The electric bike is equipped with a frame battery with powerful PANASONIC cells with a capacity of 14Ah and a central Bafang MAX DRIVE motor with a nominal power of 250W and a maximum power of 350W (EU STANDARD EPAC EN15194). The intelligent BMS system (battery management system) in the battery allows you to monitor its history and the functionality of individual cells. The Bafang MAX DRIVE central drive is a black horse in the field of central drives. It is especially proud of its very high engine torque, which can reach up to 80 Nm. The engine is very quiet and highly efficient. Thanks to the favorable price and modern design of the components used, it is thus a very interesting alternative to established branded drives. The system is controlled by an LCD display and a button control located on the handlebars.

Clear color LCD display shows the functions:
- choice of 5 assistance modes
- WALK function (walking speed - use eg: when driving a bike uphill)
- display current, maximum and average speed
- mileage (total, day / driving time)
- day and night mode (display backlight)
- battery charge indicator
- USB port for charging the phone

Range on a fully charged battery:
- average up to 70 km
- maximum up to 110 km

The range of the electric bicycle depends on various factors: rider and load weight, rider's physical condition, riding style and nature, technical condition of the bicycle, temperature, wind direction and strength, route altitude and terrain (rough surface, hilly terrain, frequent starting, etc.) access).

Warning:
Improper shifting (use of "heavy" gears when exiting) can cause the control unit to overheat in extreme conditions. Leader Fox electric bikes are not designed to tow trailers. This reduces the range of the electric bicycle.

Due to long-term issues with the supply of components, some manufacturers exceptionally approach changes of installed components contrary to the specification without letting us know. Unfortunately, it is not in our power to go through each bike and verify the differences between the manufacturer's stated components and its actual equipment. Alternative parts should meet the same standards as the original. We apologise for any discrepancies.

How we ship bikes

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:

The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
6. Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
7. Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
